Station Wagons...Love them or hate them, we all have some stories to tell about them! But most of us have never dreamed that a wagon could be a Hot rod or cool custom...but they can! Today on GEARZ, Stacey shows how much fun a wagon can be when it has an LS engine under the hood, and two four barrel carburetors sitting on it. If you ever wanted to thrash your Dad's old Wagon, this is the show for you! After that Stacey digs into some of the most asked questions regarding shooting waterborne paint, and finally we take a trip to Texas to see how one body-man created his own business by selling tools, instead of using them. If you are looking for a new career, this could be your answer.

Did a You-tube argument just end in a peaceful compromise... Has this ever even happened before?!?

Fair enough, I prefer fuel injection.

If you know what your doing it doesn't do any of those things you just described, as far as I'm concerned they both mix air and fuel together into a ratio the engine can use to burn, one just uses a mechanical set up and the other is controlled by a computer. If you set up the carburetor right it really wont make a difference other than it looks a ton better, is more nostalgic, and you can adjust it without having to have your laptop with you... I prefer a carburetor... that's all...

If you think a 'real' intake and fuel setup is one that increases fuel consumption, emissions, engine wear AND reduces power then yes that is what he did.

good for you, mate. If you've had to do TWO cars well that pretty well renders anything I've done to hundreds of cars over the years invalid. Seriously, both have advantages AND disadvantages. EFI just isn''t that radically better in my opinion in terms of HP production. Its also very expensive compared to carbs. Go with whichever you prefer, its cool.

A dyno is a lab. We disagree about tuning carbs, and being as i have had to do Weber idf's and had TWO cars with megasquirt full standalone efi, I find a properly working fuel injection is FAR easier to tune properly for all running conditions IMHO.
