Beukorkest in de Effenaar, Eindhoven 2011

Finally I went to a concert in the big hall of the Effenaar. It was a free concert of the Beukorkest with Rik van Iersel. I'm not a fan of the musical projects of Rik van Iersel and certainly not a fan of a full stage of artists which had sure not enough rehearsel time to reach a level of James Brown or Sun Ra and his Arkestra. After an hour, half of the audience was either gone or talking. Still it was fun to be there and maybe next year the festival will not be called Burning Sand but Los Zand (empty sand).
