a little bit of history and little bit of hope and dreaming. We have been trying to convince AKC to allow Yorkshire Terriers to compete in earthdog trials. This video will hopefully inspire other yorkie owners to get out there with their dogs and to get the word out

I hope this works. It is ind of disheartening that people forgot the origional funtion of these dogs were not lap dogs but full blooded terriers.

1) if you have a yorkie, please look into getting involved in earthdog trials. You can contact the AWTA AKC or the JRTCA to find trials and active clubs in your area 2) If you do not own a Yorkie but are active in earthdog, please welcome with open arms participation by yorkies 3) Spread the word that yorkies are first and foremost TERRIERS, and not designer dolls - that to be happy and healthy they need mental stimulation and activity.

@B3TheAnimalLover If you are a yorkie owner - get out there and do earthdog. If you have another terrier breed, please pursuade your club to allow yorkies to compete in terrier events.
