If your baby is born premature or critically ill, he or she may spend time in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at Presbyterian Hospital. Your baby will receive remarkable care from the entire multidisciplinary NICU team, comprised of board-certified neonatologists, pediatricians, neonatal nurse practitioners, specially trained registered nurses, respiratory therapists, discharge planning nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, social workers, nutritionists, pharmacists, audiologists, early intervention coordinators, speech therapists and child life specialists.
