Please enjoy Teresa's performance of a Japanese original song "旅愁 (Ryo-Shuu)", meaning "Melancholy On A Journey". 平尾昌晃 (Hirao Masaaki) composed the song, and 片桐和子 (Katagiri Kazuko) wrote the lyrics. 西崎みどり(Nishizaki Midori) sang the original Japanese version as a theme song of a series of a TV period drama in 1974.
Pictures in this video show parts of my hometown in the western region of Shizuoka prefecture.
Teresa's corresponding Chinese song is "旅愁 - Melancholy On A Journey".
The following are the Japanese original lyrics, with my English translation. (My following translation partly reflects the excellent original English translation by eric34yt, a YouTube friend of mine).

あなたをさがして ここまで来たの
Anata wo sagashite kokomade kita no
(I have come this far in search of you)
恋しいあなた あなた今どこに
Koishii anata anata ima doko ni
(Where are you now, my darling?)
風にゆれ 雨にぬれて
Kaze ni yure ame ni nurete
(Nodding in the wind and getting sprinkled with rain)
恋は今も今も 燃えているのに ああ
Koi wa ima mo ima mo moete irunoni aa ...
(My love for you is still aflame even now, even now, ah...)
白いほほえみも うしろすがたも
Shiroi hohoemi mo ushiro sugata mo
(Your white smile and your retreating figure)
遠い夢の中 あなたはいない
Tooi yume no naka anata wa inai
(linger in my distant memories, and you are not here)
わたしの夜空に 星はみえない
Watashi no yozora ni hoshi wa mienai
(No stars are visible in my night sky)
あなたに逢える 逢える その日まで
Anata ni aeru aeru sonohi made
(Until that day when I can see you)
鳥は飛び 鳥は帰る
Tori wa tobi tori wa kaeru
(Birds soar, and birds fly home)
それは いつもいつも 花の咲く頃 ああ
Sore wa itsumo itsumo hana no saku koro aa ...
(That is always, always, when the flowers bloom, ah...)
白いほほえみも うしろすがたも
Shiroi hohoemi mo ushiro sugata mo
(Your white smile and your retreating figure)
遠い夢の中 あなたはいない
Tooi yume no naka anata wa inai
(linger in my distant memories, and you are not here)
月 落ち 烏 啼いて 霜 天に滿つ,
江楓の 漁火 愁眠に 對す。
姑蘇 城外の 寒山寺,
夜半の 鐘聲 客船に 到る。

@SuongthuShi
Will you please tell me what this Chinese lyric relates to.

Dear Masami san:
In Vietnam/Betonamu, we used this poem to express the feeling of "Homesick" - the Japanese Lyrics - we/I may not understand all the meaning but the Music itself - we can feel the Lonesome Mood.
Both the Music and TT voice/expression made me compare the whole package as the Poem by Zhang Ji above. Like September Song.
Regards,
Thu
