Gossip Stone Freeze

Two clips of me hitting a Gossip Stone on the New Day.

You can get to this new day by stopping time with the telescope (the video this is a response to). Just hit the Gossip Stone for increasingly strange times and messages. After a certain time, it will freeze when it starts to talk.

The freeze DEFINITELY also works with the Happy Mask Salesman when you are wearing no masks, but I'm not sure if he will give strange messages. Try it out and post a comment about it.

@peteyboo It crashes around the middle of the night (on the N64), on the GCN it will display "Only 0" message which will stay on the screen, that prevents you from pausing the game; if you leave the area, game will freeze. You can get rid of the message by taking out the Ocarina. If you talk to the Mask Salesman at this hour, the game will lock-up during the conversation.

MM's Debug Code. If the game crashed or freezes, put in Control pad LEFT + "C" RIGHT + L button + R button + Start button. Then the message at the very end will come up and shows you what's the cause of the freeze/crash.

I remember those codes. That's the same thing that happened on my paper mario cartridge tiltig video.

There's actually LESS than 00:00 remaining (Dawn of A New Day is basically the day after when the moon should have crashed). Therefore, it tries to show a time, but it ends up with nothing, making the game self-generate a message (which will never work out well). Sometimes it can managed a fucked up message, but when it can't, a crash is the result.
