@jwatt002003 Thanks, I had thought about it. However, that 999 count is inaccurate. YT removed the Speak Softly Love LH tutorial due to "content inappropriate". I found out when a viewer said the monkey link failed. Obvious error on their part. Appeal in process. Other tutorials might have been removed w/o my knowledge. Maybe my "reading music" video was #1,000. That would be a wonderful coincidence. Because my biggest hope is that all of you will learn to read music.

Any explanations, links or advice is appreciated. I'd love to play some Joe Hisaishi but I think i should cover the basics and maybe some easier numbers to practice with.

@CherchezLeEd it's so much easier to read from sheetmusic, then refer to tutorials only when you are unsure of something. I made 3 intuitive lessons on reading music to get you started. thereafter practice reading using easier pieces, in a year or two you will be ready to try this one. my easier pieces are marked with a star (see website)

I FIRST touched a piano yesterday and I'm starting off with a Casio keyboard, with about 62 keys or so i believe. Whats the number of keys for a standard piano? and what can I do to still play songs? I'd like to figure out how exactly the keys are organized and indicated.

@CherchezLeEd 88 keys is standard. my "cover tutorials" usually show the range of the piece. the right hand usually carries the melody, so with 62 keys, you might miss a few bass notes.
