They killed themselves becAuse people like you can't even accept them as a human being. Being gay or lesbian or bisexual is something I think you are born with. And there is nothing wrong with it. Plus all this religious crap is stupid...I'm a Christian and I support gay rights 100%. If god didn't want gays if wouldn't have let some humans be born that way.

One of the ways that it gets better is that grown-up homophobes, like grown-up racists, learn that their idiocy is socially unacceptable and they shut-up about it.

The other way it gets better is that we somehow find a way to keep things in perspective and to -ignore- the haters . . . and lavish all of our attention on the smart people: the people who love us.

Hate is not fun. There's a cliché about actors, that they can look at 99 glowing reviews that say how brilliant they are and one negative review . . . and they will completely obsess over the negative review and ignore the other 99.

And I think that cliché is true and it's a perfectly understandable and normal phenomenon.
