I agree the back up singer was freaking annoying. If I can still here her over Carrie, that's not a good thing lol

Now that the annoying back-up singer is in the past it's been a blast seeing Carrie elevating the wonderful and angelic ''Jesus Take The Wheel'' to an art form by mashing it up with How Great Thou Art. Carrie has truly come into her own over the course of the last six years. I love re-watching all her old performances and the way she used to dress back then, it's comforting to think it might just as well be me giving it my best shot - and failing. =)

Possibly it was the sound guys fault? But yeah, so glad she left. Jamie is so much better! But this back up singer recently auditioned for "The Voice" and made through I think 1 or 2 rounds and that was it.

@charlesdavid81 , I think that's wh, if you notice now, she has a new backup singer. But that one, Carrie said left on her own. But, I think fans promoted her to get a new one. And her new one, doesn't try to outsing Carrie.

in defense of the singer...the soundman should have had her backed off in the mix, they're usually singing like that, but it's a lot lower in the mix...

Okay that was a beautiful performance but seriously the background singer is too dramatic and FULL OF HERSELF and she gets on my nerves even though I dion't know her.lol. and Amen she should BACK OFF IT'S CARRIE'S SONG NOT HERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
