The dynamics between the US and China are increasingly important as the countries recover from the global financial crisis. But trade moves are creating a hugely imbalanced economic relationship which is causing tension between the countries.
United States Studies Centre CEO, Geoffrey Garrett, discusses the issues in this interview ahead of next week's G20 Summit. He has written a strategy paper for the Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI) titled "After the GFC: Australia and the Chimerica Challenge".
