My ultimate jam sessions . . . this is a compilation of "highlights" from my experience at CAAS 2009. This video was arranged by my father. If you watch the video all of the way through . . . you will see one of the greatest highlights of my experience at CAAS, watching Tommy E. perform "Somewhere over the Rainbow" as a tribute to "The Chief", Chet Atkins.

I want to thank the many Chet Atkins fans and friends of mine that support my music.

Thanks to all who are in this video with me . . . you all are great role models!

  • I would like to see that whole jam with the green guitar, at 45 seconds in...that was way cool.

  • @MrBluesWeiser Thank you...the recording of the whole song for this jam is on my channel under "Black Mountain Rag Duo" CAAS 2009.

  • @rdhnm66 Well......right now I have a gig that lasts 6 months up at Bryce Canyon. It keeps me pretty busy! But I would love to visit Albuquerque NM someday....the town that Bugs Bunny likes to mention in his cartoons!

  • Lindsey, Great video, and excellent picking. keep it up. If we get down to Medford we will give you a call. Bobby Gibson

  • Hey Bobby! Thanks! I wish I could have gotten some video of your great pickin on here too . . . but I did get the pictures of you and I on here! We will have to plan a jam session.

I am back in Oregon now for about 6 months. Please do call me if you are in Medford. Our number isn't listed so I will send it to you.

  • You haven't, by any chance, visited the Country Music Hall of Fame lately, have you? It's current exhibit is "Chet Atkins: Certified Guitar Player" it features things like Chet's first guitar, all his Gibson's and (oh yes!) his Gretsch's! (Plus the Standel amp he used in all his performances) quite amazing if I do say so myself! I'm sure you'd enjoy it! Oh! And great playing, by the way!

  • Ooohhhhh! If you can only imagine the memories all that guitar playing brings back to me... Thank you Lindsey, and friends! :-)

  • Love to hear her do Theme From a Dream from Chet Atkins Goes to Hollywood.

  • Amazing.........that's all I can say.....

  • Great videos and you impress me. BRAVO RENALD

  • Bob Ssaxton on the Rhythm Axe!
