Lmao..First of all he shouldn't have given the striker an idea of the pass..Secondly his body position gave out his plan to pass to the defender and thirdly..He shouldn't have dived so early XDD..I love David James!...A keeper with great ability and comedy as well..That's what's great about England keepers :P

@TurboTheTurtwig if they didn't have the backpass rule, every defender's first instinct when they get the ball in the box would be to knock it into their keepers hands. It would make it far too easy to defend. At the same time defenders could waste time by passing to the keeper, who picks it up, then throws it to another defender, who passes it back to the keeper, and he picks it up again - and the opposing strikers would have no way to get the ball out of his hands.

Why do they allow the backpass rule? I'm sorry but it just makes being in goal so tricky.
