Diesel Retrieving Lesson

Day Six of learning the retrieve. Lots more work to do, but this shows good understanding of the task. Hard to show how well he really is doing and hold the camera, but I make do.

Thanks for the brag. But, he has actually been retrieving all his life. Just not a Schutzhund dumbbell and correctly as it will be needed in competition. That was the challenge to get a solid grip and correct retrieving regardless of the distraction or challenge of jumping. He is definitely some kind of dog and very fun to work with.

how do you teach him and get him to be so obedient. my gsd puppy isnt even close to that.

I enjoy watching this puppy learn and work! He learned to retrieve in what, three days? I can't wait until he's old enough to start competing in Schutzhund!
