Same here. I grew up knowing that I couldn't straighten my arm because of complications at birth but didn't understand the implications of it.  ie brushing my hair, turning my palm up, etc I'm 27 and just now learning about erb's palsy. I want to start an organization in the united states. I've noticed other countries have one.

i'm 17 years old and i have erb's palsy. watching this makes me really sad, because i grew up not knowing that anything was wrong with me. i never had surgery to fix it, but i wish i had. over the past few years i've realized that i do things much differently than others. but then i think about it, it could've been much worse. i'm alive, aren't i? this baby is beautiful, and it will be fine. <3

I'm 21 and I have had Erb's Palsy since as long as I can remember. Watching this made me cry. I Pray to Allah that your son recovers fully and live his life without any complications. Please don't make him fell like he is handicapped and treat him just like all the other boys. May Allah watch over him and protect him.

im 11 i have erbs palsy . im really lucky because i can do so much with my arm still i can do any tumbling move you can think of i do have to lift weights on my arm but im perfecly fine i just want everybody to know they can make it through it and ur no different than anybody else and lastly i just want everybody to know their not the only ones and we know how you feel if you have erbs palsy message me so i can talk to some people about it :)

listen man im 14 years old and i have erbs palsy...ever scince the 4th grade i was teased and bullied because of my arm.still today i wonder y me. im 14 and still cry once in a while because of my arm...every day i go to school they call my crippled,ever scince the 5th grade....i littery get made fun of every day at school no joke... i wished it could be fully fixed.... i dont want this to happen to your child....plz take him to your doctor to start taking therapy to make it better...good luk

I was diagnozed with erb-duchennes 2 weeks ago i began training and my right arm started to grow much faster than my left and things didin't feel right (weakning, unstable shoulder etc) my orthopedic say that with right rehab training I might get better (I can do alot with my arm, it's nearly fully functionable i lose muscle contact in (left; shoulder,tricep,biceps,forearm weakend hand (fingertips).

You guys aren't alone. I'm 19 years old and never knew anything about erb's palsy until I was about 16. It really sucks, but you can get through it!

theres actually one man in the US named dr nath that does surgeries for poeple with BPI and erbs palsy, he has a patent on the procedure so he is the only man in the US that can do it. he is houston texas, my daughter just had her first surgery done by him. you still can have surgery its not too late!!! good luck!
