Much of it was squeeze, and some was letterbox (cropped and zoomed to fit into the 16:9 correctly). I used to shoot letterbox, but have found squeeze mode much better. There's not really any noticeable visible loss in pixel quality from using it, so it's just a lot easier to go ahead and have the footage be true 16:9.
Hi thinking of buying a DVX100B saw this and it looks extremely good. Just wondering what format did you use 4:3, squeeze or letterbox? What in you opinion gives you the best results.
