@metalandi He's not only become more ripped, but he's changed guitar, pickups and rig since then. Granted, there's not a huge difference in how sloppy you sound between a Mk V and a Rectifier, but the Recs in my experience are more forgiving. Pickups have an influence on how well you have to be able to play something to get the notes to sound properly too.

That, and he's devoted half of his practice time to bodybuilding ;)

@ricreech2 I dont think hes getting sloppy. I just think some times guitarist make mistakes. The only differance between john and the rest of the guitarist is that , john makes mistakes rarely and other do it alot more.

@metalandi yes I agree with the sloppier but i guess its because he is getting old his hands age too you know also he has a family and kids i guess he cant put as much time as before to practice so i dont know thats what i think : )

anybody else noticed john is getting sloppier since a few years? actually it's since he started to gain weight..i think he should lose some weight again, it seems to effect his playing. compare this solo to the versions from 2005/06, i think it sounded better then.
