I think it took the Rescue unit so long because they had to hook up they trailer and what not..

hey in my department we r set up to pull trailers with out HR but we dont becuaes we got a SUV forour trailerss

@kalahiki808 Doesn't HFD a fireboat similar to the FDNY's one? I think it was called the "Moku Ahi" I think... We only have one of those though...

@garlic287 In Hawaii, most times you would see Heavy Rescue Trucks towing a boat, no matter what the situation.

that response siren encourages the fire fighters to respond quicker: they dont have to listen to it as long it's sooooo annoying.

@fresh5951 they do. but it wasnt needed in this rescue call as the boat was overturned and not on fire :)

Big problem with electronic sirens : you cannot hear them from the sides at an intersection, since the speakers project the sound straight ahead.
