A King's Duty

On the afternoon of Dec. 5, HM King Bhumipol and HM Queen Sirikit again travel the loving people-lined streets, to the Grand Palace for a religious ceremony with 81 monks. They return to Chitralada Palace through a night-time wonderland, as a grand display of devotion is readied on the expanse of Sanam Luang (as the English say, "Royal Pramane Grounds).

As of now, it is my understanding that Thailand does not have a check and balance government. Furthermore, Thai government are not government of the people, by the people, and for the people.

In reality, Thai government are government of king, by king, and for king with Prem is orchestrating behind the iron curtail.

It might be a good idea for TKA to "curtail" the cliches and figure out how parliamentary systems work. The worst lie being supported by international media, is that the current gov't "wasn't elected" - which of course it was. Current PM is also elected, like every other house member. It's up to members alone to decide which party will lead the gov't, which they did. HM the King (or Prem) have NOTHING to do with it.

"He" didn't "jail" anyone, you dope. His Majesty doesn't even LIKE the lese majeste laws, but the Thai people will not accept their removal. They are very protective of their King. Come over here and try to disrespect him in public - the lese majeste law will be the least of your worries. The Thai people will not stand for that crap.

"He" has nothing to do with punishing those people, so get your facts right.

If only the Filipinos are as respectful as the people of Thailand, I wonder where my country is now. I envy your country and the dedication and reverence your people show to your king! How I wished we were as respectful as your people. With his many and many duties that had done for Thailand, We, the Thai People, are very proud to have our king. If many of the king's projects have been done, I'm sure that Thailand will not face the water problem again.
