Learn how to add AJAX elements to a webpage using the Spry framework. It's actually cooler than it sounds because it's presented by Todd Perkins. You gotta love this guy.

  • Actually, he's right. This is by no means AJAX though still helpful. DHTML is the right category too. AJAX stands for Asynchronous Java Script And XML. This basically means that data is brought to the web page from an webservice for example without the page having to refresh. This data was already embedded into the HTML so there was no need to use AJAX.

  • I dont think I would consider this AJAX. At least from a programmers point of view.

    i agree. though its a cool video i would not consider this ajax either.ajax can be used in spry framework but this cant be consider is one of the example.

    This is cool but i have one question:

    How can i do this by following your tutorial to open up the div like on youtube?

    I mean, if you click a button under the video, a new div comes up and pull the content under the div down.

    You know what i mean? How it works?
