Kampung Ulu Batu : The Living Jungle

This short documentary talks about the "Temuan" people who are native to Malaysia. The issue of homes, basic amenities and others are spoken here. This short documentary despite done in a short time and has its glitches managed to garner a 3rd place award at the 2006 Malaysian Video Award under the documentary category.

This short documentary that was done when I was in my final year. I had a group wonderful crew to finish this. It was for the Documentary Production class. WIth a crew of 4 people, we came out with this idea and executed this short documentary. Yes, it has a lot of mistakes here and there but we really wanted to highlight the plight of the 'Orang Asli' people in Malaysia.
