Playing in a snow drift on the way to a lookout tower in Tahoe. Still too much snow to get to the top in the middle of July!

  • Hey man sick truck!! I have the exact same one except white! Im really wanting to get a 3 inch lift with 285/75/16. Did you have to do any trimming at all to get them to fit up front? Ive been hearing that you do? Your reply would help me a lot!

  • @mtnDEW98 Thanks! I did have to trim the lower part of the fender by the mud flap. It still rubs a little, but with the Icon extended travel coilovers, Camburg UCA's, and no sway bars the front really moves. It also depends on tires. I heard that AT will not rub, but with my MT's it does. Also to consider is wheels and backspacing. If you want 285's and stock rims you'll have to get wheel spacers because the tires rub on the UCA and frame. A new rim with a 4.5" backspacing would ideal.

  • @heep100 Thank you so much for replying haha! I'm a firm believer in bfg all terrains so thats good news! And yeah i'd get new rims.. Just out of curiosity, what rims are you running? Those look pretty sweet.

  • @mtnDEW98 No problem, glad I could help. Those BFG's were my second choice, almost got them. My rims are Raceline's, not sure the model, but they were only like $100 each and they look good!

  • hey i have the same exact truck as urs. ive been havin horriible brake shaking problems and was wondering if u were havin the same thing goin on? i replaced the rack and pinion bushings and got rotors turned but still is doing it.

  • @Cannondale900 I had and did the same exact thing as you. First order up some Total Chaos steering rack bushing, then later on had my rotors turned and it all went to shit then. After getting my rotors turned it just warped the rotors even more. So that's your problem, warped rotors. I replaced mine with EBC Slotted rotors and new pads, and no more shakes and stopping is much better. Just do that and you'll be back to normal, actually better!

  • turns out that the 2000-02 tundras have t-100 front brake calipers. there way to underpowered for the tundra. so starting in 03 toyota fixed the issue by replacing the brake calipers. i went to a wrecking yard and found some 05 calipers, turned rotors with new pads. at 800 miles now and have had no issue

  • @heep100 Yeah they do. Thanks for all the help man!

  • @Cannondale900 Stock cats, just a 14" magnaflow welded in and JBA headers.

  • damn that thing sounds good! have u gutted ur cat's at all? or they stock ones
