I love Ian Bostridge, he sings Handel's tenor arias so well.

Certainly on of the greatest duets ever written. John Eliot Gardiners' version one of the best.

This is certainly one of the most beautiful pieces ever, but still only one of many "hits" of Handel. He composed so many wonderful songs. I hope this will make more people more aware of Handels qualities. But John Eliot Gardiner's interpretation is still my favourite.

Absolutely breathtaking. The best version of the best song ever written.Handel will never be bettered,Of all his works my favourite is 'Theodora'

Absolute magic.....it rises above so much rubbish on You Tube to stand alone in it's pure beauty.

Is this the most beautiful piece of music ever written?

the tenor is Ian Bostridge, IMHO the best baroque tenor in the world, and the soprano is Lynne Dawson. But it is in the description anyway..
