To view the next video in this series click: http://www.monkeysee.com/play/9698 This video will show rabbit care and how to choose the proper diet for a rabbit. As with humans, rabbit diet can easily be the key factor in keeping not only a happy & healthy rabbit, but one that will live longer as well. There are many choices available at stores and vet clinics, but knowing what the contents are of the food you choose will help you make sure that the diet your rabbit receives is correctly aligned with any dietary needs your rabbit might have. Even though your rabbit might prefer some type of foods over another, high sugar and calorie items should be given in moderation.

  • thanks for the vid!!

  • OMG!!! I've been doing the wrong things!!

I've been giving my rabbits those treats as daily food. And hay as a snack. And iceberg lettuce as a snack too. omgomgomgomg. please, someone tell me what I should do ????

  • Rabbits can't eat ice burg lettuce but they can eat romain Lettuce.

  • @amillilwayne1 that's for owls.

  • i thought pellets were there poop ?lol

  • The clover hay? -Does it have actual clovers? If so, your bunny will die. Clovers cause rabbits to have gas, And since bunnies can not expel gas, then it will cause them to bloat and die : /

  • @egyptiancow101 OMG. Don't feed any rabbit corn. Or seeds. Or nuts. Or sweets or salty treats. 75% of their daily diet MUST be Timothy Hay. Feed them no more than 1/8 to 1/4 cup timothy hay based kibble per day. Rabbits under 1 year of age can eat Alfalfa hay, but once they are over a year old, they can no longer digest it, and must be fed Timothy hay. Don't feed them any veggies until they are at least 6 mos. old and then start them a ittle at a time on them. Check out co-hrs.org!

  • my rabbit likes corn lol

  • never feed it lettuce it will kill it!!! its pure poison to a rabbit!! why do you have it in your salad? OMG!!! never never never!!!

  • @doggiera That's a lie.
