  • can someone pleaasseeee give me the chordsss

  • hahaha omg Carmen looks like a ho - lil bit

  • i love it, except, when shlomo sings really low. :l

  • I played Schlomo in our performance and I loved this song! As a baritone it was right in my range but I completely messed up miming playing the piano...

  • ...it sounds so...operah-ish kinda sorta. idk...WHY DID SCHOLMO GO LOW WITH IT DURN THE HARMONY!!!? that was not cute

  • love this song!

  • Okay I get ur point. Just clash of opinions.

  • I have listened to the 1999 American Tour Version of this. It's the exact same thing. They're both overly good but it isn't a show stopper and neither is the professional one. Yes Schlomo at the end freaks out with the whole YEAH but it's still not a show stopper every script is the same and every script has it as not a big scene... not a big scene at all it's the whole thing is about 9 lines and a song

  • Yes I can defo understand what your saying and where your coming from. Its just that in productions all over the world, this number has simply been a showstopper (not really 'the' showstopper) because of the chemistry between them and that it has been sung in a certain way. Listen to this track on the 1999 American Tour CD and you will see why its a showstopper.

  • This isn't the show stopper. This song is put in to explain why the end song (the actual show stopper) is so important, and show the love that's forming between Carmen and Schlomo. Plus character shoes are classic. And maybe they didn't want Carmen's outfit to be overly 80's.
