  • All I can say is the Marines gave John Wayne a platoon, the Air Corps gave him a few planes, 7th Group - a company of Green Berets, but the Army? They entrusted him with the 82d Airborne Division. There are two kinds of men in the US Armed Forces: Those that are Airborne and those who wish they had what it took to be Airborne! B/307, Eighty-Deuce!
