dude VFH2 was released at the end of 09. Knas was released at the end of 10.Besides i bet 75% of you crazy fuckers / haters are mad at yourselves because you didnt figure it out before steve angelo. Come again, what are sample packs for? so that i can play them on my ipod? Srsly, that guy simply used a ROYALTY FREE sample and built a track around it. Its easy once that he did it. How come YOU didn't do it? I bet most of u r scouting other packs to do the same. Goddamn haters...

WTF... what was going thru his head... ya its a cool loop and all but really.. i could never do that.. it wouldnt feel right... thats actually so pathetic. using synths from sample packs in general is pretty weak. i can under stand sampling percussion, and vocal snips, or even stabs or something from old disco records.. but a whole main lead... wtf steve. pre recorded sets and premade songs.. and he's at the top of the house scene. thats fucked.

it doesn't matter how you make music, if people like it good for you, if they don't, try again, most of you are just jealous that you are still sitting at home trying to make it in the industry, talk shit all you want while he sits in his ferrari and laughs at all of you.

Meant to reply to this ages ago. First and foremost...EDM, are you actually having me on? There's your first failure. Secondly, no, I have NEVER used a vengeance pack because as far as it goes, they're not even that great. Give me a 909 and I'm happy enough for my kicks, claps or whatever. You publish construction kits for the simple factor of making £££££ off shit that's already been used, it's just another form of profit, which is fair enough but I don't endorse in it.

I thumbed up both top comments! I really don't know where the fuck I stand on this. It all seems to get into semantics.

If he made the synth did he design the technology he makes it on? Does he own distortion, delay or chorus? Is it cheating to use them as well? If you use a sample of a kick, are you not also using a sample of a kick if you program one in using a drum machine?

WHERE DOES IT END?! *Head explodes*

I don't why people hate on him for sampling... Everyone on the music scene samples and it is not about how easy it was to create but how creative he was to realize that he had a sample and how fast he could create a banger. Easy? Why didn't you made it? That is part of the creative process, sometimes we got the thing right in front of us and can't see and go big way around to make the same thing that was right in front of us. To finish to those are who criticizing: Who Knows Daft Punk?

Because other people make their own music. I love Knas, I love that Steve Angello made this, but I can't say people are dumb when they don't build tracks around samples, you don't learn much that way, or even make your own sound in any way.
