I'd say that out of all the second-generation announcers today, Thom Brennaman is the one who is far more well known nationally than his father. Growing up in the West I never really got to hear Marty Brennaman because he didn't do much national work. Thom has been on the national scene for almost 25 years, first with WGN and then on FOX.
