Christmas Special '09

First off... I SWEAR I DID NOT PICK THE AUDIO!! I really dislike the 'modern' translation that my church picked... bleh.

Anyway, since this video took up all my time (so I couldn't make a Christmas AMV for y'all), I figured I'd just upload it... because. It's a collection of prophecies about the birth of Jesus (at least, Christians think that the prophecies are about Jesus. The Jews think we're insane :P), all from the Old Testament.

My worship pastor phoned me at 10:30 one morning (when I was obviously still half asleep) and asked me to make this. I said I didn't think I had time. He essentially asked if I could make a crappy video - except he knows I don't roll that way. The church gave me the audio and was like 'Make it cool?' and that was pretty much it. So... I just stayed up all night a few days ago and edited this from 11pm to 5:30am and made practically no attempt to make it artistically rewarding. Huzzah!

I really dig the music. It's like this awesome specter of 2 different beats looped repeatedly for 20 seconds and then another awesome segment consisting of some radical beats punch in before returning to the endless cycle of the same old beats. awesome. No really, It was decently edited, but there was nothing that made me want to finish watching this

Ouch. Just because we picked a bad translation of Isaiah doesn't mean Christianity is less legitimate that atheism.

Richard Dawkins once said "The universe is cold, bleak and empty" and "built on unyielding despair".

The way I see it, if you don't believe in God, then you come from nowhere, your life means nothing, and when you die you just fade into nothing. And to me, that just seems kinda... sad? Pointless? I dunno.

Just my thoughts. Everyone's entitled to their opinion :P

In my experience from my college all of adobe's software ran much better on the PC's than the imacs even though the mac's had better spces. I do agree that vegas is glitchy, but it's also a low level editing program designed for HOME use. Also premiere and after effects are way glitchier than vegas and crash much more. In reality if you want your editing flawless you need to self animate all your effects and image sequence it in photoshop instead of using video editing software at all.

I use vegas 9.0 pro and it's about as bitchy as microsoft and windows is im just about fed up with "anything windows related" if i could afford a mac i would switch just because i know adobe is as amazing as a mac.

And you can do just about anything with adobe that your mind can come up with.

Vegas is like the cookie and adobe is like the cake. .

But seriously though vegas has so many bugs it almost makes me want to quit editing it's so frustrating.
