  • @MaryWaterton That's because ex-homosexuals don't exist. They are gay people who have been brainwashed into a life of misery, doubt, and self-hatred by conniving Christian witch doctors. Rather than come to terms with their sexuality in a safe, judgment-free environment, these pour souls have had fear and lies shoved down their throats by a theology that condemns them to hell simply for who they are. There is nothing more insidious than denying someone the right to live free and happy.

  • Focus on the Family is one of the most dangerous hate groups in the United States. Reorientation or 'reparative therapy' is a complete fallacy.

  • Steven Baines is a politician, not a minister. He is blogging from about politics, cars, sports and shopping new sex toys. He will be good opponent in horseshoe contest, not about the church or psychology.

"Reverend Steven Baines, an elder in the Disciples of Christ and member of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force National Religious Leadership Roundtable, and a former Southern Baptist minister."

  • Romans1:26-

" Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error. "

  • @etemuru continued We say, "Mary, pray for us." but to Jesus we say, "Lord, hear our prayer," the distinction being intercessory prayer vs addressing our Lord, Jesus Christ. The rosary is a meditation on the life of Christ and serves to glorify him and help us on the way of the cross. Please find an informed Catholic or read our Catechism to further clarify, but don't spread misinformation. You do a disservice to all Christians

  • @etemuru you are misguided, friend. Based on Mark 3, Luke 24, Corinthians 15, Jesus appointed Peter as head, giving over the keys to the kingdom, as prophesied in Isaiah until the end of time, and in accordance with ancient tradition The Pope's infallibility is limited to his dogmatic teachings on faith and morals, not his personal life. If you want to understand the Eucharist from a Catholic perspective, read John 6. We ask for the prayers of the saints, we do not pray to them eg. "Mary, pray

  • @branram Not true...I know people who are same sex attracted, and they have been transformed by their faith in Jesus Christ. I'm not sure why people choose to have labels like heterosexual or homosexual or whatever. But what the Bible teaches is that we can change and be like Jesus Christ no matter what our condition was when we were born or what our choices were later in life. People can change through the power of the LORD. I have seen it in my life and others' as well.

  • @1000Astron You should reflect on who you are based on what the Bible teaches about you, not based on what you FEEL is right for you. THAT is, if you are at all interested in becoming a Christian. If not, carry on believing what you want. God loves you, but that doesn't mean you won't be judged after you die. I'm not saying this to judge or make u feel bad, but when you start saying "God made me gay", well, that is not something that the LORD wrote in the bible. I'm not sure who taught you that?

  • @MrSurfingdreamer Don't Roman Catholics believe in papal infallibility? That is not a Christian doctrine. They also believe that the communion is actually the body and blood of Jesus-not biblical. They also pray with rosaries and to various "saints" and "apostles" which is also not Christian doctrine. So you should probably sit down with a Christian who is knowledgeable about theology/filled with the Holy Spirit, study the bible, & pray for wisdom about the things u are discussing on this page.

  • I met a pastor who was same sex attracted, but he has been faithful to his wife for 30 years now. I'm not sure if I would describe that as him being "cured" of a "mental disorder", but I do feel that he himself feels free from the bondage of sin ---and yes, to many people who become Christians, a life of homosexuality is not honoring the LORD, and is a sin. So they themselves choose to submit to God's will for them to either be celibate, or marry a woman. That transformation is real to them.

  • Whoa! Such a twisted view of what Dr. Dobson sought to accomplish. I'm guessin' a Baptist. Sure we're all O.K. with homosexuality today. Rah! Rah! There are no absolutes and the 'Word of God', such a waste of time. Mankind is soooo. much smarter than that so called God guy. Let's go with what contemporary psychology teaches us about our sexuality. How on earth cld. brilliant contemporary pedagogues have gotten it wrong? Guess the truth will out on that venerable LAST DAY!

  • Question. How rich is Mr. James Dobson? How much is he raking in? How much is this person worth? Ok, that's 3 questions. Now whisht and answer.
