Arizona state Senator Sylvia Allen (R) voices support for opening up uranium mining in the state. Sen Allen responds to statements by environmentalists by assuring them that the "Earth is 6,000 years old..." Twice.

I'm an Arizonian and I must say I am ashamed of all the retardation that occurs in our state Government. However I still have more respect for Young Earth Creationists than Old Earth Creationists. At least YECs have enough common sense to know if the earth and universe is billions of years old it would falsify Christianity.
