The Baiyoke Sky has it's pros and cons. In this off the cuff review, I list some of the pros and cons. Now, admittedly In my frame of mind, I was pretty tough on the place, but you can't love them all and for me personally, I wouldn't stay there again. That said, there are many good reviews from various tourists on hotel sites. The sky restaurant and buffet, on the other hand, is a *must do* if you have never eaten there.

Caveat: I had just finished a long flight and arrived at the hotel and as I was unpacking and setting up a cockroach ran across the desk and I killed it. I have to call it like I see it, though :)

I would call the front desk and complain. The very least they should do is give you a clean room to sleep in. Cockroaches are just unsanitary and disgusting.
