Jerry -- you've done a terrific job with this! I love the way you revealed the connection between the crushing of the self portrait in the sculpture & the crushing of Shrady himself. Brilliant!

Bravo,
Although most sculpture may have plaques or titles that tell us what the work represents, we seldom grasp the full meaning by simply walking past and looking at them.
Monuments teach us history and history allows us to profit from lessons, and better understand ourselves and our culture, what to strive for, and what mistakes to avoid.
Marv has shown us that every monument has an event, subject or story behind it that our forefathers though were worth remembering. Well done, Marv!
