Philip Burnett Franklin Agee (July 19, 1935 - January 7, 2008) was a Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) case officer and writer, best known as author of the 1975 book, Inside the Company: CIA Diary, detailing his experiences in the CIA. Agee joined the CIA in 1957, and over the following decade had postings in Washington, D.C., Ecuador, Uruguay, and Mexico. After resigning from the Agency in 1968, he became a leading opponent of CIA practices. He died in Cuba in January 2008.

The V-2 rocket (German: Vergeltungswaffe 2) was, according to head of Nazi rocket program Walter Dornberger, the world's first ballistic missile and first human artifact to achieve sub-orbital spaceflight, the progenitor of all modern rockets. Over 3,000 V-2s were launched as military rockets by the German Wehrmacht against Allied targets in World War II, resulting in the death of an estimated 7,250 military personnel and civilians.

An estimated 20,000 inmates at Mittelbau-Dora died constructing V-2s. Of these, 9,000 died from exhaustion and collapse, 350 were hanged (including 200 executed for acts of sabotage) and the remainder were either shot or died from disease or starvation.

Operation Paperclip was the code name for the 1945 Office of Strategic Services, Joint Intelligence Objectives Agency recruitment of German scientists from Nazi Germany to the U.S. after VE Day.

President Truman authorized Operation Paperclip in August 1945; however he expressly ordered that anyone found "to have been a member of the Nazi party and more than a nominal participant in its activities, or an active supporter of Nazism militarism" would be excluded.

Under this criterion many of the scientists recruited, such as Wernher von Braun, Arthur Rudolph and Hubertus Strughold, who were all officially on record as Nazis and listed as a "menace to the security of the Allied Forces," would have been ineligible. All were cleared to work in the U.S. after having their backgrounds "bleached" by the military; false employment histories were provided, and previous Nazi affiliations were expunged from the record. The paperclips that secured newly-minted background details to their personnel files gave the operation its name.

  • thank you for posting!

although the info he is sharing is not new, but it is still very good to have Chomsky, Tarpley, Pilger, etc, confirmed from a CIA insider source.

    Thumbs up to Philip Agee.

    p.s. to Brian6805

being a good american is not about covering up SS war criminals, is it. it is also not about overthrowing democraticaly elected governments in soverign states.

  • @brian6805

lol just because you sympathize with Nazis, war criminals, and other assorted mass murderers, does not mean Philip Agee is wrong. Hes more credible than you can ever be regarding United States' foreign policy.

We live in a pretty free country, so you can worship Pinochet and Kissinger if you'd like, but don't expect other people to side with you on a youtube comment. lol tard

  • He is right Pat Robinson is the devil himself a black sheep hidden and Bush Jr became that man who pushed america back into the war business. Clearly, Sadam was no threat it was about power and monetary supply. Iraq was going not except debt ridden US dallors. This was seen as threat to America and its montary system. See once Iraq pushed away from the dallor other Aribic nations would have did the same thing, Really, it doen't matter the USA is done to many lazy fat people and 13 trillion

  • Hes a liberal that wants to paint the left as Nazi which is PR CIA game to minipulate Americans another also Clinton was voted in a then signed us up for his Bushs WTO and one world order. Clinton and Bush are wolvene from the same ideology of one world government.

  • @CaptainoIndustry I am sure Machiavelli would agree.

  • Agee is a Chomsky and certainly a recurring Pilger source anyway! :)

  • The Left has a saying where they claim "any means necessary" is permitted to achieve their goals. This is why we recruited the Nazis. Defeating the Communists permitted the US to use any means necessary (including using Nazis). Life is about trade offs. Working with Nazis was necessary to defeat the Communists (who killed more people than the Nazis did anyway). Unforchunately the world is harsh place where difficult decisions must be made. The world is better off with the Soviet scum.

  • This guy is a traitor to this country. His words and opinions are not credible. He is ABSOLUTLY wrong when naming von Braun and Arthur Rudolph war criminals. He has revealed identies of other CIA case officers that cost them thier lives. If anyone is a war criminal it is him. Believe nothing he says.
