Tip: Next time try increasing the font size in the editor and putting the monitor behind the keyboard so both can be seen at the same time.

Another tip: If you put a touch sensor to the tip of the "finger" then you can detect when a key has been pressed and so avoid multiple keystrokes (like with the J).

Also, the NXT should remember the finger's position so it does not need to pull back to the starting position everytime.

@zoadam about going back to start position the problem is not remaber of position but of precision of NXT encoder if you staring every time from 0 you don't accumulates erros.

@dymsza As far as I know, he NXT motor encoder has a precision of 1°.

If this isn't enough, you could still try using gears.

By reducing speed, the precision increases.

If backlash turns out to be a serious problem then pulley wheels and rubber bands can be used instead.

Of course these modifications would make this machine a lot more complex, but also faster and more efficient.
