David wrote the song as a commission about the only woman actually tried and convicted of witchcraft in Virgina. I belive it ws written on the occasion of her official pardon by the commonwealth of VA. So yes it is about the witch of Pungo! I'm not sure who commissioned the song but it was one of the historical societies.

I know at some point when I see them I'll be able to stop taking pictures long enough to get a few videos. lol "Grace Sherwood" is always fun! I had a hard time getting good pictures of Catherine in Abingdon too.

Yeah! The credits on this one are hard to read... they are okay on the full video but YouTube kinda mangles things.. credits read that Doug is the witch hunter and Catherine is the invisible witch!! ha... glad you liked it!!!
