You can just put some pressure under the flywheel with the screw driver.
Then while yo have pressure on the flywheel just tap the crank with a small hammer and a wood block on the end of the crank to protect the crank.
Never tap the flywheel.

Great suggestion Jay! I just struggled getting one off by prying and having somebody lightly tapping the crack shaft with a hammer. The crank shafts must be made of cheaper steel now days, because I did it that method for years w/o affecting the threads. This time the shaft "shrunk" under hammer blows and the nut was difficult to get past the squished threads. I have an air chisel with the pointed tip, but did not think of using it. You are GREAT!

I always use a hammer on the crank end and a prybar. If using an air hammer I would use it with a soft head.
Technical tripod = Box. Awesome :D haha
Good video mate! Thanks alot for that. Ill go ahead with the air hammer/chisel first.
Cheers :D

@mattyvt93 yeh they are defiantly the best way. as to the technical tripod it was a p/c psu box with a sharpening stone sitting on a speaker so questionably not the sturdiest thing no lol
