Who gives a crap if some guy uses egyptian mathematics to play a bunch a fast trash. Try listening to african drumming it's much more musical and soulful.

Matt from mudvayne does use Egyptian mathematics to work out his drum pattern. I know the drummer from tool does as well but he uses a different type of math. As for Yanic yes he has a very good technique I just personally prefer Derek Roddy.

derek is a good drummer, he plays fast and strong, matt also plays good, but yanic have better technique, and the one who use maths from his work is the drummer of tool, ok.

derek roddy is better and Matt from Mudvayne is without a doubt the most technical drummer around. He uses Egyptian mathematics to work out his drum patterns now thats insane!

yes he is. almost every drummer uses triggers, even the drummer from Nile. well they have to because these kind of drummers are so exceptionally talented that the drumset is itself too slow for them without triggers. hadnt he used triggers he would have blaasted his double bass drums by now
