Blackadder is the generic name that encompasses four series of a BBC One historical sitcom, along with several one-off installments.

All episodes star Rowan Atkinson and Tony Robinson as anti-hero Edmund Blackadder and his dogsbody, Baldrick. Each series is set in a different historical period with Blackadder and Baldrick as main characters. In each series they are accompanied by different characters, though several persons reappear in one series or another - for example, Melchett and Lord Flashheart.

  • okay... by 2:46 i realised it was sick even to blackadder standards.

  • @linuslillen01 He he yes indeed!

  • @mozdonny Wellto tell you the truth it was not the best of all but this was not exactly an episode! It was infact a special extra episode.

  • This is still hilarious. Don't need the recorded laughs to make me laugh. Good stuff!

  • @KenCaesarXL Ofcourse there's no need to serve you the laughs like an sitcom! you are free to laugh whenever you like this is the right thing to do in movies like this!

  • Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you a sitcom WITHOUT a laugh track or live studio audience! Makes a difference, eh?!

  • "Well, glaze my nipples and call me Rita." :D LMAO.

  • First time I saw this was 12 years ago at the millenium dome, good times.

  • By the end of the four BA seasons, it started to really upon the drawn out similes. They were still funny and brilliant, but it started to hint at being formulaic. All the after bits, this especially, were just playing to the formula. This is fairly sh!t, barely 3 classic laughs in the whole thing where the original had 1 every minute.

  • The props are so bad x3

  • @logom0 yeah i was too young to know the Blackadder series and Fry and Laurie so I first saw him in House. never occurred to me he was actually British!

  • LOL its house! and ppl thought he was american lol

  • @patchsmovingcastle That's Mr Da Vinci, obviously.

    Who else?
