It may lack some of the finer controls that Photoshop has, but it will get the job done at a fraction of the price. I think it is very user friendly and good value for the money. I have just completed a new DVD using PaintShop Pro X3 and the more I used it the easier it became. PaintShop Pro has some excellent filters which I I have used extensively .

back in the days Jasc Paint Shop Pro 7 it has Animation shop 3 Iwish they include Animation program with next upgrade PSPX3

Mac or PC, they both do the same job, Photoshop works exactly the same on both systems. Macs do look nicer, but when theycrash, they are just as bad as a PC that crashes. Good luck with your purchase, I am sure you will be pleased with it.
