Haweli Soojhan Singh is an Old and Historical Building in Bhabra Bazar, Rawalpindi City. In 1930 Karpan Singh came from Afghanstan and built a Haweli and before his Death he gave this Haweli(Building) to his grand son Mohan Singh and land in front of Haweli gave to his second grand son Soojhan Singh who built the second part of the Hawali is knwon as Haweli Soojhan Singh. In 1947 During the Partition of India and Pakistan family of Soojhan Singh migerated to Bharat. Now this Haweli has been converted as Fatima Jinah University Campus.

Hey i think its a good gesture that you have taken the time to upload this video. You may never know the decendents of that family might see this video online and may be some day they want to go back and try to repair that beautiful building. There are tons of places in india too which muslims left during partition, they were destroyed or given to ungrateful people so its the same story on both sides. People create and preserve things when they have food in their stomach. Sadly its not the case.

Such hawelis and haweli 'Umar Hayat' in Chinyot need immediate attention. How can Sh. Rasheed talk about these hawelis now? He has been member of parliament and many times federal ministers since 1985, what he has done not only for these historical buildings but other issues as well? He has gone to supreme court for election to be held in NA55 but did he file any petition in public interests like power shortage, inflation and preserverance of such buildings?
