Down 10-0 late in the 2nd quarter, Notre Dame answers MSU's score with an impressive scoring drive of their own. Coley O'Brien hits Bob Gladieux for the touchdown. To make it 10-7 at the half. Special thanks to KH for the putting the original radio call over the color game film.

  • Best case for overtime in the history of sports. I just saw that Mark Dantonio was the first Michigan State coach to have two consecutive 10 game seasons. Someone owes Duffy Daugherty an apology. He finished 10-0 in 1965, and 9-0-1 in 1966, but since this was his one tie, he should be considered the first.

  • @Spartans1 Great question.

  • One of the best Football games ever that didn't have a winner

  • Harpo is the best!

  • I was there as ND student.

  • wonder what would have happend if this went into overtime?

  • We just attended the ND-Michigan game and met Bob Gladieux. He was sitting right behind us with his championship ring

  • Bleier is my cousin

  • My son, Coley, is named after Coley O'Brien. His father liked that name and knew, when he was young, that if he ever had a son he would name him Coley.

  • coley is my dad
