I just randomly heard this song today. I am Lakota souix(the tribe depicted here). I listen to NW before but never heard this one. I live on a reservation and hear my language everyday and the fact that NW made this dog including our language was just awesome. Makes

@mettalica1017 This is just awesome! The first time I heard this song I shivered just to think about the big injustice and mistakes that people did. We think that this kind of masacre stayed on the past but we are wrong, this kind of thing still happens, but in differents locations... this is sad.

I am of mixed heritage, though much of my blood is of various Native American tribes. The first time I heard this song, I cried... I knew already of the injustices done to the Natives, but to hear it expressed so powerfully...

So much could have been learned from these people, their beautiful and harmonious way of life. But there was no patience, no tolerance... simply greed. We don't learn from this, we never have. And so, the past repeats itself through us all as every day passes. Terrible.
