Wile Away (Lyrics by VINNIE FAVALE,TOM GESIMONDO)

This is the music video for an original song written by Vinnie Favale, Tom Gesimondo, and myself a few years ago. Like a lot of the songs we've written together, I basically recorded the music, Tom listened to it and wrote some lyrics, and then Vinnie took it all and rewrote whatever words or melody he felt needed improvement, made some good edits, etc, and we all settle on this final version.

I produced the final track back in 2004 and we promoted it on Tom and Vinnie's web site:

It's actually a nice pleasant little song that always makes me feel good when I hear it and since I've been making music videos lately, it was only natural that I would eventually be inspired to create this visual representation of what we are trying to share in the original audio track.

This song was also recently featured on Howard Stern when he found out about HereAfter: The Musical and started goofing on Vinnie. He played both this version of the song and Vin's version as well. Even though Howard liked this version, he still was not crazy about the lyrics.

BTW, that's me in the video if you did not guess by watching it. I filmed most of it myself with a tripod and my wife, Susy, also filmed some of the best shots in the video, which I'm sure you noticed. She's good at this sort of thing, you know. I edited it did the post production. I'm learning more all the time how to use all this fancy editing software. It' been fun so far and I hope to get better at it.
