@emantabrizi I think your adversary had pointed out that the problems can't be solved by doing more of the same on a bigger scale. He did fail to point out that the "surplus" of the Clinton administration was actually an illusion created by Congress shuffling social security money around. You would have to go back to Ike to find a surplus.

@murdt61 ... The point is that it's going to take a long time to clean-up the mess. You can pretend all you want that the actions of the previous administration are no longer affecting this country, but you would be living in a dream. You know what Bush inherited? A BUDGET SURPLUS. In eight years, that surplus turned into a trillion-dollar DEFICIT. You know what else Bush inherited? 4% unemployment, which he doubled in eight years. This disaster cannot be fixed in a couple years.

@emantabrizi It's absolutely sad about how liberals are still blaming Bush. Face it! George W. Bush is no longer the President of the United States! And you know what? At least Bush as much as Obama loves to talk about inheriting a mess, didn't preside over a bad healthcare law, a failed stimulus, Dodd-Frank, and a degraded dollar. Barack Obama took 9 trillion dollars of debt and in 3 short years, accumulated it into 14 trillion dollars. Good luck in 2012, but he's going down.

@Phase2Videos Thank you for that. Not everyone in America is ignorant. It blows my mind how we have gotten to the point that the least educated and most hateful are calling the shots. In America we only have two parties in power. The conservatives and the radical conservatives. Both sides are using every trick in the book to push corporate hegemony. Currently the name of the game is destroy the government. I am so ashamed of the neo-conservatives. God help us.
