This is a project done by Will Strickland and Chris Cotter for Ms. Cerbone's 3rd block class. It is a parody of Tyler The Creator's track, "Yonkers". This song is a history lesson on Julius Caesar.

LYRICS:

Just call me Caesar to the Julius
Triumvirate, it's what we do, can never make a fool of us
Crassus, along with Pompey and the one and only I
Conquering France by myself, leaving them wondering "Why?"
Roman senate, they be right to be afraid of me
They called for me, so imma take a visit with my army
Making all those politicians cry
Threatening them with their lives
They make me dictator for the rest of my life
I'm tall and dark-skinned, with a body like this I'll have a wife
Soon, I'll actually marry one, she'll die, and I'll get another
...little fun fact for ya...
I made a law in Italy, you'll get money if you have lots of kids
I changed the calendar to the same ones the Egyptians did
I made it easy for people to become citizens
I gave land to 15,000 of my veterans
I helped with fixing all of the taxes
I'll plan another war campaign, but realize that's whackses
Little did I know, I had destroyed the Roman Republic
I also didn't know some people had had enough of it
The day was March 15th
I was at the senate just chillin' in my seat
Heard a noise, looked but I saw nothing
Then out they came, and boy did I feel something
60 of 'em, 60 people in the senate
I tried to run but after one stab and said just forget it
I got stabbed 23 times when it was all over
But only one was fatal if it makes a difference...
Out came Brutus with his knife, I said "You too dawg?"
He stabbed me...that was all
1 dead, 60 guilty, all within a single day
Even though I died the Caesar name will never go away
All in all, I'd say I did a pretty good job
It's just a shame the senate and I could not get along
Just wait till my boy Octavian comes around
He'll be the best emperor to ever come in to town
