DUGONG AT MAMENG Finale
As news of poached sea turtles and illegally harvested corals make headlines, Doc Ferds Recio and Kiko Rustia continue to trail two species that are targets of the wildlife trade.
After witnessing two wild dugongs mating in Mati, Davao, Doc Ferds Recio's team travels to Coron, Palawan where they attempt an underwater documentation of dugong behavior. In Coron's rich sea grass area, two ghostly shadows appear underwater. Graceful, gentle and enthralling, the wild dugong is revealed. Three years since he first met stranded baby dugong Zam, Doc Ferds finally fulfills his wish to see dugongs thriving in the sea, and leaves viewers with the image of these creatures as they should be -- alive and wild.
Meanwhile, Kiko Rustia's team is still in Sarangani Province , recently in the news because of a cargo vessel that crashed into its coral reefs. Indeed, Sarangani's marine life is to be admired, and the destruction of this habitat can be detrimental to many species that live here, including the giant and endangered fish called mameng. In this finale, what international experts say is a rare sighting -- a thirty year old, five-foot long mameng -- is finally documented.
if only everyone can watch and put thier selves to this world.....hay;0......for sure they would treasure everything....why not watch this kind of documents instead of non sense things...
