Hell House

"If some one was murdered in a haunted house, would anyone ever know?"

This film was made in 72 hours for Louisville KY's Fright Night Film Festival contest... We used a standard Canon zr800 mini dv camera and filmed inside "The Vault Of Horror" and outside Culbertson Mansion. Needless to say we are proud of the results. Stay tuned, we plan on doing a few re-shoots and some pick-ups, re-edit and put it back out. This version is unfinshed. I rushed the credits and didn't get to finish them... To all my actors and crew, I will! I promise!

To me, the local music was a nice touch! I didn't catch Incursion right away, but I definately heard intheclear.

Anyway, I liked it.

Glad you liked it. I will only use local music. We only want indie people for our productions. BTW if you have seen the local zombie flick Dead Moon Rising (now available on Netflix) then you may recognize the lead male (me) in Hell House. DMR was my first starring role in film. If not Im not sure why we look familiar to you.

That is funny. And it's the same thing we went for. You're the only to really catch and/or mention it. That's cool. I once wrote a "Dawn of the Dead"-type spoof. In a scene, someone says they should stick together in order to survive. One of the characters says "what if one of us dies? Anyone could be the first" and then the black character says "Why's everybody lookin' at me?" Anyway, I let him live, but most people that read it cracked up with laughter, black people included. That was a hoot, because I didn't mean it to be a racist joke, but a reference to all those predictable horror movies.

The camera has actually done very well for us. Everything you see on my page was filmed with that camera. As much as I want a MAJOR camera I'm very happy with mine.
