  • What for motors do you have to power the NS GE's?

  • First off, these aren't mine. They belong to another guy at the club. They are gasoline-hydraulic locomotives. This method of propulsion is very common in the live steam hobby other than battery-electric locomotives and live steam locomotives. It is very similar to diesel-electric propulsion systems, which is used on full scale modern locomotives. I'm not sure about the brand or model of the engine in these locomotive.
