i did highway and melbourne local for some years, i`m glad i`m out of it, i partially blame the camera mentality of the Authorities for the abundance of rat bags on the road, if we had a decent amount of patrol cars pulling people up for bad driving instead of just randomly taking pictures of the people who may be slightly over the limit but still driving with care,
if a bloke was cynical ....... he might say it was really about money and less to do with safety.

the sad part is there are stupid people everywhere and they seem to be concentrated in and around the city's, then they get be hide the wheel and think that every thing stops on a dime. I for one feel for the truckies on the roads

Top video man, im up and down the the ring rd from campbellfield to ballarat twice a day and the amount of stupid dangerous things i see people do is incredable, funny though how many times you stick to your lane and some boy racer in a commodore with a chev badge on it trys to make there own lane, then only ends up 2 cars ahead of you for the next 15 minutes hahahah

Victorian road rules (no strict requirement to keep left on multi lane roads, trucks allowed on any lane on multi lane roads, truck speed limit is same as cars) and road infrastructure (for some reason when road is getting narrower here left lane is removed, instead of the right one - this encourages drivers not to drive on first lane) create a lot of issues.
p.s. my opinion is strongly influenced by 20 years of driving in Europe.

@kirkey99 so do most of the truck drivers, constanly tailgating on freeways

People drive like wankers over there..

Just wondering mate, what model camera you use?

the new trend in Melbourne is to not use indicators, on occasions they're used as confirmators (ie. indicate after turning or changing line's).

@swagonwheels You do realise this bloke is helping police find fuckwits like these that break the law try being a truckie for a week and see what traffic is like anywhere in australia and @fullnoise I need a camera for when I drive.. so many idiots in Brisbane

I thought Sydney drivers were bad! There must be a lot of pregnant women in Melbourne rushing up the breakdown lanes to get to hospital by the look of it.

Wow, I drive every day in WA and don't see half the crap going on that you guys deal with. what a bunch of twats who need to die in order for the better more responsible humans to live on.

You deliberately bullied the girl in the red car, despite the fact you knew she was there.
You did the wrong thing, because two wrongs don't make a right. A safe driver would have yielded.
I thought truckies were men of the world, not dobbers.
Why don't you become a cop you rat?
Grow some nuts and stop your bloody whinging,
The drivers of cars would'nt be in such a hurry, if wimps like you didn't hold them up in your underpowered, over sized rigs, in the first place.

@swagonwheels If you bothered to look at the footage, you would see that I didn’t bully the girl and I did let her in. This cam is mounted high in the centre of the windscreen, so what you see is not my line of vision from the driver’s seat. I backed off as soon as I saw this stupid girl. The car that’s in the middle lane at 3:28 is in fact her. As for the rest of your comments, I suggest you stay off the red cordial, finish your homework and get your mummy to tuck you into bed.
