The Original Goa Trance Scene

Quick flash back to the Autumn of 1992 when Britain's first ever fully fledged Goa Trance Club hit the London circuit more than a full year before either Paul Oakenfold or Danny Rampling managed to pick up on either the sound or the scene that originally spawned it.

This footage originally appeared in the Winter Solstice edition of the 'Intersound' Trance Techno Video Fanzine alongside unique original footage of the likes of Mix Master Morris and the Return to the Source DJs.

The interviewee is Mark Maurice creator of the original Panjaea Trance Dance concept and the first promoter to give the likes of 'Return to the Source's' Mark Allen and Flying Rhino's 'Dominic Lamb' their first paid dj spots.

i miss those awesome trance and dance songs from 1992, i dit had a tape wich was recorded by the neberhuds once i forced them to do.

but too bad that tape has been broken 13 years ago.

i got good memory,s from 92 oh yeah!!!!!!!!

the source parties at brixton were really special!, i went to megadogs there and experienced the source set up from autumn 95!, never looked back since!

tsuyoshi, astralasia, azukx, hallucinogen, mark allen, sid shanti, green nuns etc...........
